Job 4:6  Doesn’t your reverence for God give you confidence? Doesn’t your life of integrity give you hope?

Job 5 : 16  And so at last the poor have hope, and the snapping jaws of the wicked are shut.

  Job 11 : 18  Having hope will give you courage .You will be protected and will rest in safety.

Job 27 : 8  For what hope do the godless have when God cuts them off and takes away their life?

Jeremiah 29 : 11   For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

 Psalm 9 : 18  But the needy will not be ignored forever; the hopes of the poor will not always be crushed.

Psalm 146 : 5  But joyful are those who have the God of Israel[a] as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God.

 Psalm 147 : 11  No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.

 Proverbs 10 : 28   The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing.

 Proverbs 13 : 12  Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.

 Proverbs 19 : 18  Discipline your children while there is hope. Otherwise you will ruin their lives. Proverbs 23:18 You will be rewarded for this; your hope will not be disappointed.

 Proverbs 24 : 14  In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short. 

Proverbs 26 : 12  There is more hope for fools than for people who think they are wise.

 Proverbs 29 : 20  There is more hope for a fool than for someone who speaks without thinking.

 Lamentations 3 : 21 – 22   Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.

 Lamentations 3 : 24   I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him! 

NEW TESTAMENT 

 Matthew 11 : 28   Then  Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry
heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
Romans 5 : 3– 4  We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we
know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance
develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.

 Romans 5 : 5  And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

 Romans  8 : 23–24 And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us. 24 We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it }

Romans 12 : 12  Rejoice in our confident hope .Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying .

 Romans 15 : 4  Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us.
And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.   

Romans 15 : 13  May  the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in
Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the
Holy Spirit. 

1 Peter 1: 21  Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

1 Peter 3: 15  Instead  you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if
someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to
explain it. 

  1  Corinthians 13 :13  Three  things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
 Hebrews 3:6 But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.

 Hebrews 6 : 18  So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.

 Hebrews 6 : 19 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. 

Hebrews 10 : 23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.  

 Hebrews 11 : 1  Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of
things we cannot see.

Ephesians 4 : 4  For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called
to one glorious hope for the future.

 Ephesians 1  :18  I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can
understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—
his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.
1Corinthians 13  : 6 -7  It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth
wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always
hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

1Timothy 4:10

This is why we work hard and continue to struggle, for our hope
is in the living God, who is the Savior of all people and
particularly of all believers.

 Titus 2:13

While we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the
glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.
